Very little equipment is required for Shotokan Karate training. For your first few lessons shorts and a t-shirt suffice. Later on you will require a Karate Gi (like the one to the right) and for men a criket box and ladies a chest protector.

To join the Dojo, you must be over 16 years old, as we do not believe Karate is suitable for children. There is no upper limit, since we adapt Karate training to suit the student.
You can come and watch for free. Your first two weeks lessons are £5 each. If you decide to join, membership - which includes insurance - is £35 per year.
